EU Customers / Imports & Duties

If you are ordering from outside of the UK, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes once your order reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance, taxes and duties are the responsibility of the recipient; I do not control these charges and cannot predict what they may be. The amount of tax differs depending on the country you are based in. Please check the amount of import tax you will have to pay with your local customs office before placing an order.

Any returns to Maison Spoon that are due to failure to pay duties/taxes, etc, the customer will be liable for any outstanding balance and/or return fees/surcharges/duties, etc charged to Maison Spoon by customs, handling agents, couriers, etc. Customs only hold parcels for between 3-5 days for payment of fees/duties.

Please check your inbox, including your spam/junk folders for any customs related emails. After this your parcel may be returned to me or abandoned by customs, if no payment is received by customs/handling agents. If returned to me by customs/handling agent/customer or any other interested party, the customer/receiver is liable for any fees/surcharges/costs incurred to Maison Spoon, during the return process.
